Childrens Day Celebrations-Senior Wing

"Children of today will make the world of tomorrow." - Jawahar Lal Nehru.

Childrens day marks the birth anniversary of Indias first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. Its a day to reflect on the importance of caring for, loving and nurturing our future generations. Its a day to realize their importance in nation building and provide them the opportunity to open their wings and fly to achieve their goals. On this day, lets pledge to make the lives of little ones better and keep them happy. Lets ensure that every child in this country enjoys equal rights, safety and quality education.

Childrens Day was celebrated in DPS Durg with great verve and vigour on 14th November 2022. Teachers presented a Special Assembly including a Group Song, self composed Poems, a Guitar and Mouth Organ recital and a standup Comedy. The Principal, Mr. Yashpal Sharma, spoke to apprise students with their responsibilities apart from rights. He greeted them warmly on the occasion. A fun Cricket Match was also organized for the students of IX to XII. A magic show was also organized for the students of VI to VIII.
